As we've stated in our roadmap (blog post Information on next release) , our focus and target for this month has been to have an integrated ssh client and ssh server using libssh.

This will allow us to avoid the ugly bash scripts that call the openssh sshd and ssh programs. More importantly th...

Found another video lying around, forgot about this one. Again, apologies for the video quality.

This shows ebrainpool running across a third device in the mix. As we have been mentioning, the real benefit comes into play when there is a multitude of devices connected. Is not sharing lik...

I've just got back from a holiday up in the hills. Every time I visit a small town I get enamoured by the slow serenity and peaceful way of life. Sometimes I wonder if we've been doing the moon walk with the forward movement of progress just an illusion.

As we continue to learn from nature, we see...

For those following the fun and games going on here @ebrainpool, Both Jeetu and myself are currently in heavy coding mode, working on little pieces for the next release.

None of this could ever be possible without all the community support we have already received. I cannot thank enough the developers of projects such as olsrd, Xorg, libssh, fuse and the numerous other projects and developers that have helped us.

This is the application gtkperf running through ebrainpool. Its a good way to understand where the display (Xorg) fits into this mix. Here the app is actually running my machine (supernova) which has the Intel x3100 graphics card and is being also run simultaneously from my machine, through ebrain...

Thought I'd give a short heads up on what we we're currently focusing on with regards the code. As said earlier one of the top things we want to do is integrate the ssh code in the client and stop using the ugly bash scripts we're currently using.

Our original thought has been using libssh and wri...

We decided to throw the N900 into the mesh mix :) The above shows the N900 running the olsrd daemon and being able to see the other devices in the mesh :) While we still have not ported the client onto the N900 this was a good test to see where we stand on this platform....so far looking good :)

In the current developer release we have bash scripts that launch sshd and the ssh client to provide an encrypted tunnel on which X forwarding then allows an application to be used remotely. Having part of the code run as a bash script with our client interface having no control over this process or...
